What's New? ... a Lot!

It's another new school year rolling in! We have the same programs we have had in the past, but even better! We have expanded our GED program to help those with reading problems work on the program and improve their reading at the same time.

We have notebooks and folders for students to use in organizing their learning experience. We have planners and other tools to facilitate our tutors in their efforts.

With more involvement from Artesia and the other parts of our community, we will be beginning evening sessions again. We are in the process of determining the best location for this. We are also actively recruiting volunteers to work with students in all areas. I hope you will consider donating a small portion of your time every week to help those who need to improve these vital skills. We provide training and materials to all those interested in helping to make Artesia even better!
